2013年11月11日，来自大连蒙妮坦的由佳子眼中饱含热泪，从瑞士CIDESCO主席Anna-Cari Gund和中国主席郑明明手中接过大赛奖杯，武汉会展中心响起雷鸣般的掌声，全场起立，掌声经久不息。大连蒙妮坦一举囊获专业组冠军、亚军，学生组冠军、亚军、季军，赢得现场各国专家的高度赞赏。
五千年来，中华民族对龙凤神话无比膜拜，“龙凤呈祥”是最具中国特色的图腾。画面上，龙、凤各居一半。龙是升龙，张口旋身，回首望凤；凤是翔凤，展翅翘尾，举目眺龙。周围瑞云朵朵，一派祥和之气。象征皇权的金色笔墨，勾勒出天平盛世的繁华似锦。
For five thousand years, the Chinese nations worship the legends of dragon and phoenix. Dragon and phoenix is the most characteristic totem of China. In the picture, dragon and phoenix occupy a half respectively. The dragon is raising, opening his mouth and turning round to look back at the phoenix; phoenix is a lucky phoenix, spreading her wings and looking up at the dragon. They are surrounded by the beautiful clouds and it is so peaceful there. The golden ink symbolized the imperial power draws the outline of the thriving and prosperous era.
又名天禄、 辟邪 、百解，共四个名字，是中国古代神话传说中的一种神兽，龙头、马身、麟脚，形似狮子，毛色灰白，会飞。貔貅是以财为食的，纳食四方之财。中国传统是有“貔貅”的习俗，和龙狮一样，有将这地方的邪气赶走、带来欢乐及好运的作用。前有挚兽，则载貔貅,用以比喻勇猛的战士。带着吉祥的光辉，橙红色的貔貅驻守在人们四周，财运滚滚而来。
Pi Xiu, also known as Tian Lu, Pi Xie, Bai Jie, totally four names, is the mythical creature in ancient Chinese myths and legends. It has dragon head, horse dody, unicorn feet, shaped like a lion, grey color, and can fly. Pi xiu is feed by wealth all over the world. In the acient China, there was the custom of “pi xiu”, just like the dragon and lion dance, to dispel the evil, bring joy and good luck to the place. There was a “zhi beast” to carry the pi xiu, which was a metaphor for fierce warriors. Covered with the auspicious radiance, the orange-red pi xiu were stationed around people to continuously bring people wealth.

The terrible snake lady tells a sad story. In Greek mythology, Medusa was once a beautiful girl, and attracted Poseidon with her nobility and arrogance. However she claimed that she was more beautiful than the goddess of wisdom in the hieron. Athena was outraged and casted a spell to her, which turned Medusa hair into a countless vipers. The more terrible thing was that, her eyes shined terrible light, and anyone who just looked at her eyes, he or she would immediately become lifeless a stone. In the strong contrast of color red and green, no one can bears comparison with Medusa’s breathtaking vigour.

The mermaid is the embodiment of beauty defined by Hans Christian Andersen. She sacrifices herself to love, and becomes the immortal legend. She has an cool, beautiful, attractive stature, tells the eternal love with her angelic voice. In some legends, she is the soulless curse in the blue ocean. Her upper body is suffocatingly beautiful, while the lower body is a cold fishtail covered with scales. No matter how to read, the mermaid satisfies people's imagination. Her salmon body brings the good impression.
以龙凤呈祥为创作主题，由佳子的作品展现了富贵、吉祥，瑰丽的色彩技压群芳，得到了评委的一致认可。而张琪的作品貔貅外形精妙、神采飞扬，轻易就赚得满堂喝彩，取到了亚军的好成绩。同时张琪获得全场特殊荣誉奖。在学生组的比赛中，大连蒙妮坦更是囊括了冠亚季军所有大奖，李卓奕凭借“蝴蝶仙子”荣登冠军宝座，王鑫野的美杜莎摄人心魄屈居亚军，钟雅荷笔下的美人鱼艳丽凄美荣获季军。同时姚爱云凭借九尾狐的神秘妩媚斩获个人荣誉奖项。最引人瞩目的是刘晓阳院长因为在美业的卓越成就荣膺特别大奖——中国形象设计教育杰出贡献奖，这是世界最权威组织对中国美业教育的最高褒奖。
有“美容奥运会”之称的“圣迪斯哥”美容大会――第61届美容年会在武汉举行，11月8日开幕，历时四天。来自美国、英国、法国、日本、韩国、加拿大等36个国家的600多名美容界专家学者参会。
此次美容大会的内容主要有：2013世界杯人体彩绘大赛、世界美容组织CIDESCO会员国会议、中国之夜CIDESCO美容大会、2013年CIDESCO大赛颁奖盛典、中国武汉楚韵之风美容博览会等。
